Princeton Jewelers was first founded in 1949 by Martin Rakowski and partner Irwin Kaufman in New York City as a jewelry manufacturer. As the domestic jewelry industry matured and developed, Princeton Jewelers became known for their mens' jewelry and ladies' bracelet designs. They participated in the original Jewelerama Collection of Fine Manufacturers, from 1965 - 1990, Special order manufacturing for fine jewels followed and became an integral part of the business.
Future Findings Inc. was founded by Barry Rakowski in the year 1977 as a supplier of precious metal components to manufacturers in New York City and the rest of the world. He worked independently and successfully, until the summer of 1991. This was when Irwin retired from his long-time partnership with Martin, and Barry bought out his partnership. This led to the unison of Princeton Jewelers and Future Findings Inc., where both older and younger generation of Rakowki worked long and hard to make sure their customers' satisfactions were always met.
In the present day, Future Findings / Princeton Jewelers, Inc. is a great supplier in findings, castings, mountings (precious and semi-precious), precious stones, pearls (stringing, etc.) and many more other necessities one might be in search of for their jewelry needs. We also have a large wedding division of engagement rings, wedding bands, bridesmaid jewelry, and groomsmen gifts. In addition, we are excellent at sourcing large diamonds, and can do any means of labor that a customer may bring to our challenge.
Future Findings has also been very involved in the entertainment department, having many of their fine pieces shown in movies and on television. Some examples of their more recent work have appeared in Sex and the City, Will & Grace, and will be in the upcoming Catwoman, Pink Panther and Miss Congeniality 2.
